Other music faculty, e.g., theory, history, woodwinds...may also be able to schedule in-school presentations on requested topics.

Any of these faculty services which require Collaborative funding must be approved in advance by Collaborative director, Robert Nordman.  

The University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Fine Arts and Communications, Dean John Hylton, hosts the E. Desmond Lee Fine Arts Education Collaborative annual middle and high school Big Band Jazz Festival in the Lee Theatre, Touhill Performing Arts Center on January 13, 2009; the High School Music Festival (choir, orchestra, symphonic band) on February 10, 2009; and the Middle School Music Festival (choir, orchestra, concert band) on February 19, 2009, in the Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall, Touhill Performing Arts Center. The culminating concerts of these all-day festivals are free and open to the public at 6:30 p.m., no tickets required.

The University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Education, Dean Charles Schmitz, contributes substantially to the Collaborative's ability to provide reduced cost and free student admissions to orchestral concerts and childrens theatre.
